Sheila Errington
I’m the Registered Manager of Fostering North East. I love working with a great team and with the people who put so much into their role as foster carers.
When I’m not working, I love walking or running.
Claire Bryden
I’m Deputy Manager of the team and I’ve worked in a variety of social work settings since 2006, working with children and families and a specialist health team. I’ve held many roles in fostering since 2013.
In my spare time I love fell walking or something equally as challenging.
Dan O'Brien
I’m a supervising social worker. I have over 10 years’ experience as a children’s social worker.
After work you’ll find me playing footy, riding my bike or out for a run – all necessary to keep up with my young daughter!
Lesley Tyers
I’m a supervising social worker and worked with children in various roles for over 20 years before joining the team over seven years ago.
I unwind at the end of the day with a lovely walk with my two dogs – or a nice pamper if time allows.
Leigh Clarke
I’m a support worker with the team. As a BACP qualified counsellor with more than 20 years’ experience, I support our foster carers as needed.
I love fitness training, making sure I manage to fit in gym visits five days a week.
